So I borrowed my bro’s shiny new Nikon D90 for a day to use it’s D-Movie function. I must say that I’m terribly impressed and jealous with its upgrades from the D80 - which is my current camera! I used my good ‘ole Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 to shoot this. The video was actually a 2+ minute clip which I chopped up and mixed to show a sort of story and switching of camera angles.

Wanted to use the unique capabilities of the camera to show the details on the corsets.
Shallow depth of field at wide apertures due to the full frame sensor with this camera was an advantage.
Film converted to 25fps using Apple Compressor. Film edited in Final Cut Studio as 1920 x1080 ProRes files”
